As a telemarketer and lobbyist turned career politician, Shady Steve turned around and sued taxpayers—scoring a $15 million personal payout from government funds. (1)He took that personal profit and used it to become a Clark County kingpin. In that position, he gave government contracts to his cronies and helped them get rich off of taxpayers too. (2)
In Clark County, he’s ignored our failing schools, refused to stand up to those pushing sanctuary cities, and raised taxes to fund more pay-offs to his political outfit. We cannot allow this corrupt career politician to apply his fringe, failed approach to our entire state.

Shady Steve Sisolak’s political machine is pushing blatant lies about Adam Laxalt, claiming he plans to “cut funding for schools.” That attack is totally false. In fact, Adam Laxalt has pledged that Nevada will never go backwards in education funding as long as he is Governor and he plans to increase funding for schools.
Shady Steve became a Clark County kingpin by trading government favors for political donations. Sometimes, it works smoothly, like when he took a $5,000 donation in installments—before the bidding process and after. Sometimes, a judge stops him and calls his behavior “illegal” and “corrupt.”
Laura Fitzsimmons is Steve Sisolak’s longtime personal attorney, who has been highlighted on this website for receiving a government contract worth $300,000and working with Sisolak to negotiate a government settlement—the recipient of which turned around and donated $10,000 to Shady Steve.
Shady Steve must think the press and people of Nevada are clueless. He’s not even hiding his corruption. Sisolak took big donations from a paving company right before and right after voting to give them an expensive government contract.
It pays to be friends with career politician Steve Sisolak. Sisolak gave a $300,000 government contract to his long-time personal attorney, Laura Fitzsimmons. She helped make him rich in a lawsuit against taxpayers and helped him discredit a teenage girl who accused him of improper behavior.
Steve Sisolak was elected to serve the people, but he’s only ever cared about personal profit. Instead of representing taxpayers, Shady Steve sued the county and profited $15 million. It gets worse. After personally taking all of those funds, Steve Sisolak helped get more government money for the lawyer who made him rich.
